WNS Twister

Rode home under this developing twister last night after our partial race. The wierd thing is with the heavy downpour and some hail, the temperature seemed to increase. It was warm and actually felt kind of nice. I got off Lower Springbank Road, rode around the graveyard looking for shelter but there was none. Hope the others who rode home were ok.

Mike,

Nice photo! Brad and I were actually hit by part of this thing on the top of Springbank Road and got thrown across the road and an insane angle! Not a fun ride home. Glad you made it ok.

Jens Voigt may be a tough guy, but would he ride through a Tornado?

I'm glad to hear you're alive Ron, you too Brad. You're proper hard cyclists now!

Great photo. I was also hit by this.I'm not so tough, I dismounted and hide in the ditch and hung on to my bike. It was a bizarre minute or so.

I got thrown around a fair bit on my mad dash home up the wall. Thankfully my sunglasses were covered in rain and fog, so I didn't see that thing chasing me.
